Using their old filing cabinets, we designed new furniture for the offices of the 

 in Winterthur. The project resulted in six trolleys each in RAL 1016 sulphur yellow and RAL 7035 light gray. They are fitted with felt seat cushions and can also be used as stools for the accompanying table.

MEYER:WERMUTH TOUR

We designed the Meyer:Wermuth studio for a new podcast from SP Schweiz. Our services included designing the film set and studio furniture, installation of camera and sound technology, development of a controllable lighting system and advice on film production.

STUDIO MEYER:WERMUTH

Inspired by the works of Russian suprematist Kazimir Malevich, we designed the H-Chair as part of a podcast studio. Made of maple wood, it’s lightweight and stackable.

In the Seetal valley, between Lucerne and Aargau, a new bike trail was planned with installations at particularly scenic spots. We brought this concept by Seetal Tourismus to life: rough-sawn chestnut boards from local wood were placed along the trail, each featuring an aluminum plaque with a different exercise.

Every day, at sunrise, waver began to wave its flags and did so until the setting sun silenced it again. The solar-powered installation was on display for 18 days at the

WAVER

 revolved around flaws, shortcomings and defects in the fields of industry, architecture and consumer goods. Using beech flooring salvaged from the museum's renovation we designed a scenography concept that reflected on this topic.

PERFECTLY IMPERFECT

We founded Studio Topo in 2022 following our industrial design studies at the Zurich University of the Arts. Since then we have had the pleasure of realizing projects with various partners and clients such as:

Zurich Design Weeks, Pro Helvetia Starting Power Programme, Pro Helvetia Emerging Talent Programme, Z-Kubator What’s next Compass Programme, Zürcher Hochschule der Künste, Museum für Gestaltung, Gewerbemuseum Winterthur, Amt für Kultur Stadt Winterthur, Museum Mühlerama, Seetal Tourismus, Thurgau Tourismus, MOFA landscape studios, bölsterli hitz GmbH, Maison Shift, Hannah Parr and Casa Barilli.

This gave us the opportunity to contribute our expertise in product and spatial design, scenography, physical computing, prototyping, and video production. Throughout, open communication with the client—combined with a sense of humor and an instinct for improvisation—was key to the success of each project. We’re grateful for their trust and look forward to future collaborations.

STUDIO TOPO

The Verein Materialarchiv hosts Switzerland’s largest material database. In the 

 exhibition, it explored recycling residual and waste materials. Reflecting on this theme, we designed the exhibition furniture using salvaged aluminum profiles.

BLUT & STAUB 

We developed the Y-Stool from pre-used aluminum profiles with specially manufactured dies and a mandrel press. It was produced in an edition of 33 pieces. In 2023, we were invited to show the Y-Stool at Milan Design Week in the
